teachingconvening
I have a proven track record as an effective and engaging tutor and convenor who facilitates quality learning experiences for my students through practice-led research principles and an iterative curatorial process. I teach in scenarios such as: studio and classroom settings, hosting public excursions, facilitating online learning, and providing professional experience in gallery spaces across institutions. Through collaborative feedback and in-situ learning experiences, the relationship between a reflective practice and emerging practitioners is a strong and affecting one, on both teaching and learning fronts.
My teaching experience spans undergraduate professional practice and research methodologies; coursework masters for interaction design, human-centred design and curatorial and cultural leadership. My practice translates well with 3rd-year, Honours and Coursework Masters students, as they hone their professional skills to prepare and connect them with a wider workplace; especially if that workplace is practice or research-based such as creative companies, design start-ups, or historical, cultural and academic institutions.
